10K No-Code Challenge Weekly Update #2

Reflections and learnings from Week 1

Hello everyone!👋 Swaraj here.

Welcome to weekly update #2 of the 10K No-Code Challenge, a challenge that I’ve set up for myself to build tiny toy projects using no-code tools like bubble.io etc, launch them fast (in days and not in months) and go from $0 to $10K per month.

Things I talk about in this update:

  1. Amazing things that happened this week

  2. Things I tried this week

  3. My learnings from this week

What amazing things happened this week?

  • 35 amazing human beings subscribed to my 10K No-Code newsletter to support me and receive these weekly updates. 🥳 Thank you so much for subscribing and showing your support!

  • Got 4k+ impressions on the launch tweet of this newsletter. 🤯🤩👇

What did I do this week?

  • Read first 3 chapters of Micro-SaaS Ebook by Tyler Tringas (Updated version: Micro-SaaS Ebook by Preetam Nath).

  • Read few real stories of profitable or aquired products that were built without writing code on nocode-exits newsletter by Katt Risen.

  • Started working on a very simple toy project idea that will roast a web page whose url will be provided by the user 😅 just to get started and learn about basics of building using bubble.io and how to integrate it with other applications like payment gateways, AI etc.

What I learned this week?

  • What is Micro-SaaS and how to find and validate Micro-SaaS ideas.

- It is a software as a service business owned and operated by one person or a small team.
- These businesses are location-independent, high margin, low-risk with predictable recurring revenue.
- They are the lifestyle business of the future.

  • By reading stories from Katt’s Nocode-Exits newsletter I found this one advice from other builders very common : “Just Get Started!”

    • So, my plan now is to start small, keep building tiny toy projects using bubble.io and just get started.

    • Be consistent with learning, building, launching and iterating.

Probably most people will say just "do it" or "start somewhere". And I think that's great advice. I am a huge fan of jumping in and trying.

Just get started! Play around, experiment. Have fun.

  • While working on the toy project idea, I learned:

    • How to extract text from a web page whose url is provided by integrating external api with my bubble app.

    • Integrating Lemon Squeezy with my bubble app for receiving payments with checkout overlay.

Lemon Squeezy checkout overlay in my Bubble app

Stay tuned and thanks for reading!
