10K No-Code Challenge Weekly Update #5

Failed toy project, things to learn and next week's plan

Hello everyone!👋 Swaraj here.

Welcome to weekly update #5 of the 10K No-Code Challenge, a challenge that I’ve set up for myself to build tiny toy projects using no-code tools like Bubble.io etc, launch them fast (in days and not in months) and go from $0 to $10K per month.

Things I talk about in this update:

  1. Things I tried and learned this week

  2. Things I need to learn

  3. Next week’s plan

What did I do and learn this week?

  • I launched my first toy project Newslettersboard.com, a pay-to-play leaderboard for newsletters built using Bubble.io 🚀

  • Tried to get more visitors by posting about it on:

  • Unfortunately we made no $$ from this toy project yet. 😅

  • Things I got to learn

    • How to build a project in Bubble.io.

    • How to use different UI elements like table, buttons etc and connect it with data using workflows in Bubble.

    • How to integrate Bubble apps with lemon squeezy to receive payments using Bubble’s API connector.

    • How to use backend workflows in Bubble to connect with lemon squeezy webhooks to send data back to our app when an order is completed.

    • How to deploy a Bubble app with a custom domain.

    • How to show and talk about projects you’ve built online.

What do I need to learn?

  • How to integrate analytics tools with Bubble apps to get better insights about your app users and to understand how they are using your app?

  • How to come up with better app ideas that actually solves a burning problem?

Next week’s plan?

  • The plan for next week is to see if this toy projects works or not (Kill it if it doesn’t).

The key is to invest little, launch fast, kill fast, and try to figure out why they didn't work.

As one of the rules for this challenge was to build and launch at least 1 new toy project every month until I reach level 7 i.e $1000/month I feel really happy to be able learn, build and launch my very first toy project this month.

We’re just getting started, still need to learn a lot of things and build a lot of projects.🚀

Stay tuned for more updates and thanks for reading!
